The 1900s introduced to the world some of the most prestigious physicist that have ever lived. Among those is Max Born, a Jewish physicist that lived the life of the origins of the quantum theory and at the same time dealt with hardship of being a Jew. Max Born who lived from 1882 to 1970 is known to be one of the founding fathers of the quantum theory. This website explores the culture of his life, the hardships he faced, and what happened during the time he lived. Often the most discredited of the founding fathers, Born has still shown some of the most important contributions to modern physics. Because of the extensive research the founding fathers of the quantum theory did, we are now able to apply their ideas to help modern day society.
